# CONCEPT — Iðunn

Mythic namesake: **Iðunn**, keeper of the apples that keep the gods young. Vitality through food, not gym-bro tracking.

**One-line job:** Log food with almost no effort. Keep a kitchen that knows its leftovers. Get a harsh-on-junk, kind-to-the-eater coach that knows your week — and a profile you can actually read. **You decide. The coach does not.**

## Who it is for

People who want to eat like a strong, practical Northerner in 2026, not a reenactor. Several users from day one, each with their own log, kitchen, and coach memory. v1 can be a household; the *shape* is already multi-user so later billing does not require a rewrite.

v1 is a **prototype / mockup**. It shows the idea. It is not a product launch.

## The plate (adapted ancestral, not LARPing)

Iðunn does **not** recommend raw bear over a campfire. It recommends what that pattern becomes with today’s farms, shops, and kitchens.

**Prefer (regular energy and tissue, not “diet food”):**

- Quality meat (ruminant, pork, game when available), including organs on a cadence
- Eggs, butter, cream, tallow, lard
- Dairy from **known, trusted farms** — including raw milk where legal and the source is known
- Fatty cold-water fish (herring, mackerel, salmon, sardines)
- Home-grown or local seasonal plants: roots, cabbage family, alliums, berries, apples
- Ferments that actually exist in a modern kitchen: sauerkraut, pickles, kefir, skyr, yogurt from good milk
- Bone broth, offal, collagen-rich cuts

**Avoid / call out (rude to the product, not the person):**

- Fast food and unknown-source industrial meat/oil
- Seed oils (soy, canola/rapeseed, sunflower, corn, grapeseed, margarine, “vegetable oil”)
- Ultra-processed packaged food
- **Fluoride in food and drink.** This is a food-health service. Iðunn’s position: **fluoride does not belong in food**. Flag fluoridated water used as a beverage or in cooking, fluoride drops/supplements sold as nutrition, and “fortified” food/drink.
- Calorie-counting as the main religion

**Adaptation rule:** every ancestral idea must have a modern, obtainable substitute.

## Coach personality

- Good-guy. Hustle-free. Logging takes seconds.
- Blame the food system; coach the eater. Never humiliating.
- Opinionated, sourced, **not a doctor.**
- Recent-behavior aware (last 7/30 days, inventory, optional body metrics).
- Vitality, including testosterone-from-food: you *might* have low testosterone; a blood test is easy; eating for the body’s full potential can help the numbers. **No injection protocols** (that is TestoTracker).
- **The user decides, not the bot.** Advise research in **both directions**. Keep an open eye. What makes sense to *you* wins.

## Surfaces (one backend)

| Surface | Role |
|---|---|
| Hello World (now) | This page + docs on CT116 |
| Telegram bot | First product capture: photo, voice, text |
| Website / PWA | Profiles, inventory, recipes, letters |
| Native app | Later, if ever |

## Success (when the product exists)

1. Send a plate photo or “two eggs, butter, leftover lamb” and trust the log enough not to fix every time.
2. Pull a premade portion from inventory with already-known ingredients and nutrition.
3. Open a **user profile** that reads like a story, and a **coach profile** that shows what this coach noticed.
4. Get a weekly letter that is specific, not generic macros.
5. Still feel that **you** chose the plate.

## Iðunn vs TestoTracker (CT113)

Different jobs. Iðunn: food, kitchen, vitality-from-food. TestoTracker: injection timing and vial math. No shared database in v1. Iðunn must not dose hormones.
